Igor Furão is a researcher at the Centre for Comparative Studies of the University of Lisbon. He holds a master’s Degree in Comparative Studies from the University of Lisbon (thesis: Entre “Bios” e “Política”: a tetralogia “O Reino”, de Gonçalo M. Tavares) and he is currently developing his PhD project (Representing Life, representing Power: A comparative approach to contemporary biopolitics) at the International PhD Programme in Comparative Studies. He is also a collaborator of the project “Messengers from the Stars”, based at the University of Lisbon, Centre for English Studies.
