Biographical Note:

Ana Filipa Prata (PhD, University of Lisbon, 2011) is currently an FCT postdoctoral research fellow at the Centre for Comparative Studies of the University of Lisbon. She is member of the  Off-Off Lisbon: Alternative Urban Narratives  and  CECBase-Online Bibliography of Comparative Studies  and she also collaborates with the  Lit&Tour  and CILM-City and (In)security in Literature and the Media  projects. She was a Visiting Researcher at the University of São Paulo (2012, Brazil), and at the University of Wisconsin – Madison (USA, 2013). She taught Portuguese Language, Literature and Culture at the University of Strasbourg (2007-2010, France). Her main research interests lie in Portuguese and French Contemporary Literature, Post-Colonial Studies and City and Literature Studies.
