Biographical note

Daniela Spina is a PhD student of the Comparative Studies Program at the CEC, where she researches Goan Literary History within the framework of  Lusophone Studies, under the University of Lisbon and the FCT (PhD grant). She has studied in Italy and Brazil (Università di Bologna and Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais) and she holds a master’s degree in Comparative and Postcolonial Literatures at the Università di Bologna (2014). Currently she is a member of the research project “ORION – Portuguese Orientalism” of the CEC.
