Biographical note
Adriana Crespo received a PhD in Philosophy (Aesthetics) from the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, University of Lisbon (2013), with a thesis on the relationship between art and the body, entitled “Need for Art” and supervised by Prof. José Gil. She graduated in Portuguese Studies at the Faculty of Arts and Humanities of the University of Lisbon (2000) and attended the Programme in Literary Theory at the same Faculty. She concluded a Complementary Study of Music at the Lisbon Conservatory and has been teaching piano since 1998. She currently participates in the “Literature and Music” research line of the THELEME group. She has published poetry, micro-narrative and poetic prose books.
