The Translator Workshop

FlashMOV’s third edition* will be on the topic of The Translator Workshop. Several images – especially photographs and also paintings – will be presented and analysed for their depiction of the work environment of both flesh-and-blood and fictional translators. Topics for discussion on the space of manifestation of translators’ competence and effective performance will be put forward, followed by a commentary by Claudia Fischer (CEC, FLUL). Our purpose is to stimulate an informal dialogue among translation aficionados.
