As a researcher of the Centre for Comparative Studies, he collaborated with the projects \u201cFalse Movement \u2013 Studies on Writing and Film\u201d and \u201c(Re)written in the Wind \u2013 Melodrama among the Arts\u201d. Currently, he is the coordinator of the collective project \u201cRIAL \u2013 Reality and Imagination in Art and Literature\u201d. He has written extensively on Representation in painting, photography and film. Among other titles, he has authored the following books: <em>Monstros Felizes \u2013 La Fontaine, Diderot, Sade, Marat <\/em>(Colibri, 2000), <em>O Caminho da Montanha <\/em>(Angelus Novus, 2001), <em>O Canto de M\u00e1rsias \u2013 Por uma Po\u00e9tica do Sacrif\u00edcio<\/em> (Angelus Novus, 2001), <em>Italian Shoes <\/em>(Vendaval, 2005) e <em>Teoria do Fantasma <\/em>(Mariposa Azual, 2011).
