She holds a master\u2019s degree in English and American Studies (FLUL, 2015), with a thesis entitled \u201cExperimenting with Torture: Abu Ghraib through the Lens of Paul Scheuring\u2019s\u00a0The Experiment\u201d. She is currently\u00a0developing her\u00a0PhD\u00a0research at the International\u00a0PhD\u00a0Programme in Comparative Studies (CEC\/FLUL) entitled \u201cWeaponized Women in Contemporary Visual Culture: Representing Female Soldiers in the War on Terror\u201d. During her Master\u2019s degree she was a researcher at the University of Lisbon Centre for English Studies (CEAUL) and is now a researcher for\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.cilm.comparatistas.edu.pt\/index.php\">Project CILM<\/a>\u00a0\u2013 City and (In)security in Literature and Media\u00a0(LOCUS group, Centre for Comparative Studies).
