<\/a>Am\u00e2ndio Reis is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Lisbon School of Arts and Humanities, acting also as a Research Consultant in Europe for INCH \u2013 International Network for Comparative Humanities (Princeton U. and U. Notre Dame) and co-editor of COMPASS<\/em>, the critical and literary journal of INCH. He completed his PhD in 2020 at the U. Lisbon (PhDCOMP) in joint partnership with the U. Bologna (Italy) and KU Leuven (Belgium), with a PhD Fellowship from the FCT. He was awarded two Scientific Research Grants in the FCT Projects False Movement: studies on writing and film (UL Centre for Comparative Studies, 2012-2016) and Narrative & Medicine: (con)texts and practices across disciplines (UL Center for English Studies, 2013-2015). He currently\u00a0 coordinates the research cluster RIAL \u2013 Reality and Imagination in Art and Literature, at the Centre for Comparative Studies, also collaborating in the scientific and editorial project C&WL \u2013 Comparative and World Literature. He was a Teaching Assistant at the U. Lisbon graduation course in Comparative Studies (2015-2018), and a Visiting Research Assistant at Universit\u00e9 Paris Diderot – Paris 7 (2018). His current research is situated at the intersection of narrative studies and comparative literature, and focuses mostly on the short story in connection with other genres of short form literature, from the Fin de Si\u00e8cle to the modernist period, as well as on interarts studies and critical animal studies (often in correlation).<\/p>\n\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n
