Biographical note Duarte Drumond Braga (b. 1981) is a Postdoctoral researcher and lecturer at the University of S\u00e3o Paulo, Brazil. He holds a PhD (2014) in Comparative Studies from the University of Lisbon (thesis topic: Orientalism in 20th century Portuguese Poetry: Fernando Pessoa, Camilo Pessanha and Alberto Os\u00f3rio de Castro). He is currently part of the Thinking Goa Project (Funded by Fapesp, Brazil) and the Texts and Contexts of Portuguese Orientalism Project (Funded by Fct, Portugal). From 2004 to 2014 he has been a researcher at the U. Lisbon\u2019s Centre for Comparative Studies (CEC), and in 2009 was awarded an FCT Doctoral Grant. He lectured Creative Writing at the same University\u2019s BA in Comparative Arts and Cultures. His current research interests are: the works of Fernando Pessoa, Poetry in Portuguese (19th-20th centuries), the Lusophone Literatures from Goa, Macau and Timor and Portuguese orientalist writing. He has co-edited five books, such as (with Paulo Borges) the volume Buda e o Budismo no Ocidente e na Cultura Portuguesa<\/em> and, more recently, in 2013, the poetry anthology Nau-Sombra. Os Orientes da Poesia Portuguesa do s\u00e9culo XX<\/em> (2013).
