Literatures of Macau after 1999

To mark the 20th anniversary of the transfer of the Portuguese administration of Macau to the People’s Republic of China, the Centre for Comparative Studies together with the Orient Foundation celebrates the occasion with an event dedicated to the literatures of Macau after 1999. This event will gather writers and critics to discuss those literatures and their complexity. A glimpse into the imaginary of these literatures and their authors will be offered based on the readings that will be made in Portuguese, English and Chinese languages.
